Tucked somewhere between a peaceful forest path and a swan with the launch power of a small jet engine, this fleeting moment in Polandās countryside made me pauseāand then sprint for my camera.
Thereās a special kind of stillness you only find beneath summer leaves, the kind that whispers, āTake a deep breath, and mind your step, thereās probably a goose watching.ā And just when you think natureās all calm and composure, in comes a bird making an exit worthy of an action film.
Shot in July 2023, this photo series captures the serene and the surreal, because nothing says “peaceful countryside” quite like being startled by wings at 40mph.
