Malbork Majesty from Above: A Castle Worth Circling

On a crisp spring day, we made our way to Malbork Castle—not to tour its grand halls this time, but to admire its scale and splendour from a distance… and the sky.
Armed with our drone and cameras, we captured breathtaking aerial views of this UNESCO-listed fortress, which stands as a mighty red-brick reminder of the Teutonic Order’s former power. From high above, the castle’s vast layout, the flowing Nogat River, and the elegant bridges that connect both sides of the town came to life in an entirely new way.
The warm sunlight danced off the water, casting dramatic reflections and turning every frame into something out of a medieval fairy tale. We didn’t need to go inside to feel the magic—the architecture alone tells stories of centuries past.
So while this was more of a visual visit than a historical deep dive, the result is a gallery full of sweeping views, strong lines, and rich textures. Sometimes, perspective really is everything.
