Our recent Italian adventure was a true immersion, not just a holiday. We set out to explore the stunning region surrounding the Forte di Bard – this mighty 19th-century fortress, perched dramatically in the Aosta Valley, is truly a sight to behold. We spent time taking in its impressive scale and imagining the history it has witnessed.
The area around the fort, with its stunning mountain scenery and charming little villages, offered a captivating contrast. It was a day filled with awe-inspiring views and a deep sense of history, an unforgettable part of our Italian experience. This journey provided a unique glimpse into Italy’s rich past and breathtaking landscapes.
