With our steadfast co-pilot, Monty the Shih-Tzu, we traded the hushed enchantment of inland trails for the wild, open mystery of the coast. His “Monty Truck” was left behind, a fond memory of sunlit paths, as he embraced the thrill of paws on the sand and the freedom of an immense sky. We spent our days exploring the lively harbour, where fishing boats whispered tales of the open water, and walking the promenade, feeling the energy of a community built by the sea.
